This time the focus is on Antonín Dvorák's 9th Symphony "From the New World" - a work with which the great Czech composer, who was invited to the USA at an advanced age, once created a classical music bestseller. Thanks to its stirring themes and delightful harmonies and orchestration, Dvorák's "Ninth" is virtually celebrated to this day as a prototype of American music.
