Anna has a big problem: no matter what she does, whether she
plays, cleans up, goes ice skating, looks out the window,
there's always something that makes her mad. And she
can't do anything about it. No one wants to play with her anymore
and her parents' advice doesn't help.
But Grandpa knows a way out: he gives Anna a
drum.
Puppeteer Christiane Kampwirth fascinates and grabs her audience of all ages with intensity and charisma. She is mom, dad - but most of all Anna with a quirky personality and a soft soul. Her superb acting, right down to her mastery of all the technical details, captivates and convinces.
The beautiful folding-mouth puppet Anna and delightful little flat figures are very pleasing.
Even ten- to twelve-year-olds follow the turbulent action in wonder. And the effective final picture is a stunner.
