Adolf Hitler knew nothing of Anne Frank, she of him very well. It is Hitler's "Kampf" that witnesses and ends the story of Anne Frank. She died in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in late February, early March 1945. What remains is her diary.
On this evening you will experience how the two texts collide in a sharply edited reading. Horror and hope, beast and young girl. History creating history with derisive laughter. At a time when the right is resurgent, it is important to show the struggle of the little diary against the great dictator, to once again develop a sense and ear for the subtleties of history. For history is always made up of stories. And stories are made up of destinies. The Blum & artist duo. Rohm, consisting of writer Guido Rohm and entertainer Marianne Blum guarantees an evening that, for all the gravity of the subject, is not only educational but also entertaining, just as Anne Frank's text is not only sad but also passionate and humorous, and Hitler's machination not only frightening but in places downright unintentionally funny. The two artists approach the books with respect and sensitivity, presenting them so skillfully and grippingly that the historical reality comes alive for the audience.
