For both of them it was one of the important chapters in their careers, which were not exactly lacking in artistic highlights: When Annette Dasch and Klaus Florian Vogt met in the central roles in Hans Neuenfels' "Lohengrin" production in Bayreuth in 2011, the media gushed, the feuilletons wrote of a singers' festival, and the tabloid press proclaimed a new dream couple. But not as Elsa and Lohengrin, but with songs and duets by Brahms and Schumann, the soprano and the tenor showed in the Wiesbaden Kurhaus how well they harmonize with each other. For this year's Artist in Residence, the format of the song recital remains a very important one: "Wonderfully responsible" for the content, she finds a process that can be demanding and exhausting, but always rewarding.
