Culture in public space awaits you on Thursday, 08 July, in the Fechenheim district. There protagon e.V. starts with the performance "KlimaX" by antagon theaterAktion will take place on Thursday, July 8, 2021 the first of the 130 theater, dance, and music events that are planned until September. After a street parade (beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Burglehen Square), the antagon ensemble will present its one-hour play on climate and social change issues at Burglehen Square in the center of the district.
With the mobile performance "KlimaX", the antagon ensemble wants to make theatre an experience where it reaches people who are not otherwise theatre-goers - where life takes place, on the streets and squares of the city, and especially in the periphery. For the start of their series of events, the theatre makers have chosen the district of Fechenheim in Frankfurt's east.
The day of the performance begins with a walkact and small performances in the district and leads the audience to a central square performance, which opens up new perspectives on public space in expressive images and in an interplay of physical theatre elements, contemporary dance, mask play, stilt walking and live created sound atmospheres.
