Metal high-flyers ANY GIVEN DAY from the heart of the Ruhr area released their second album "Everlasting" on August 26th and make it unmistakably clear, even apart from the title, that the band is ready to take the next step in their career with full force and loudness.
2014 ANY GIVEN DAY successfully made the big leap with their debut "My Longest Way Home": From internet hype (the cover to the RIHANNA song "Diamonds" was clicked many millions of times on YouTube) into the Top 30 of the German album charts and onto the big (festival) stages (among others.With Full Force, Rock Im Revier, Summer Breeze).
2016 ANY GIVEN DAY are now proving that they have not only come to stay, but are also able to raise the energy level one more time.
For the creation of "Everlasting", ANY GIVEN DAY have relied on the tried and tested set-up of the first album, but have unequally increased the variability of the sound in contrast to its predecessor. Many songs present themselves more accessible and varied, but without losing sight of the grower qualities of each individual composition. It goes without saying that artists with such high standards also keep the guest list tight and absolutely high-quality: on the already live-tested "Arise", none other than TRIVIUM's Matthew Heafy contributed his voice.
Just in time for the start of the top-class IMPERICON festivals and the PROGRESSION tour in spring, ANY GIVEN DAY have already sent the first harbinger of the new album into the race with "Endurance" and still have one or the other ace up their sleeve for the festival summer as well as the upcoming release tour. Without a doubt: "Everlasting" is here to stay.
