Energy. The word not only describes the pop-punk of the four guys from Frankfurt am Main. Two singles, an EP to be released in spring 2019 as well as numerous gigs in and around Frankfurt with regional and national acts testify how much energy and passion are behind APART FROM US. Thereby Chris Bredow(bass), Jens Deutschländer (vocals), Marcel Greb (guitar)andValentin Koch(drumsince the end of 2018), have only founded themselves as APART FROM US at the end of 2017 and self-released on 01.01.2018 with their first single "Creepworld". At first impression the music is good-humored, danceable and is smiled at by some as 0815 pop. However, with the melancholy that repeatedly emerges from the vocals and harmonies and the emotional lyrics that deal with problems, love, wanderlust and hope, APART FROM US show time and again that there is clearly more than high school drama behind their music.
