Centralstation and Literaturhaus fly out for an "away game"! - these are four literary events in June at unusual locations in Darmstadt.
How could it be otherwise - in the fashion and accessory shop Heckmann it's all about "fashions". With this book, Bachmann Prize winner Nora Gomringer completes her "trilogy of surfaces and invisibilities". Looking at the details to question the big picture is one characteristic of Gomringer's poetry, another is the literary and cultural allusions. There is, for example, the poem about the killer Ed Gein, the model for the film character Norman Bates from Psycho. Or the verses about an invisible woman: contributing to the burqa debate or questions about the original sinful Eve. New thing-poems have emerged, describing the little black dress and the uniform as well as the kimono and the disappearance of language and thus of the self.
