The BABYWELT trade fair is coming to your home - but a little later than planned: To ensure that everything runs smoothly for the fair's participants and exhibitors, the technical capacities of the digital platform are being further expanded. Instead of the end of February, Germany's leading consumer trade fair for pregnancy, birth and the first year of life will now invite you to a digital live event on 24 + 25 April. BABYWELT - inspired by xircus offers hot new products, live expert lectures and direct exchange with influencers and other "young parents". And best of all: All this safely and conveniently from home!
Thanks to the digital live event platform xircus, BABYWELT offers an interactive trade fair experience in a class of its own. Taking part are renowned exhibitors - from big brands to small labels and manufactures - as well as renowned experts. In addition to Baby Björn, BeSafe, Peg Perego TFK, Nuna and MAM, Joie, Stokke, Manduca, NUK and Thule, for example, will also be presenting their current product ranges at digital exhibition stands with individual expert advice in real time, inviting visitors to shop to their heart's content. Professionals will be on hand to answer all your questions about the issues that concern young parents. Felix Boehme, operator of a parental allowance information portal, for example, provides in his lecture the view through the bureaucratic jungle.
Frauke Ludwig, author, operator of the training platform Einfach Eltern® and head of the Trageschule Hamburg®, is represented with two lectures: "Die Bindung machts!" shows how parents and children benefit from attachment-oriented education. Furthermore, in the lecture "Carrying your baby is simply wonderful, if you know how..." she gives valuable tips from carrying advice. Michaela Buss from viMUM will talk about the top pregnancy topics in a FAQ and author Susanne Mirau will talk about "Motherhood between burden and ideal". Annika Lau, a well-known radio and television presenter and mother of three, will be hosting the expert talk stage. Parents can find out more about the individual exhibitors at the "Impulse and Product Shows". In addition, participants can enter into individual, personal exchange with experts, influencers or other mums and dads in the "Parents' Café" powerd by BabyForum, in the "Simply Parents' Info Lounge" and in the "Influencer & Neighbour" area powered by BARRIO.
The event will take place on April 24 and 25 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. There are still two types of tickets to choose from: The basic ticket with access to all exhibitor content and keynote speeches is free of charge. The premium ticket with exclusive benefits, such as access to the expert lectures, is available for 11 euros. Premium ticket holders will also receive a high-quality digital "goodie bag" following the event. Tickets already purchased will retain their validity.
In addition to the digital live event platform xircus, BABYWELT - inspired by xircus relies on strong media and industry partners: in addition to "Eltern", "Leben & erziehen" and "1st Steps" as well as the Bundesverband Deutscher Kinderausstattungs-Hersteller e.V. (BDKH) also FOKUS KIND Medien. The new software "ARkid" from FOKUS KIND Medien offers spatial 3D visualizations for baby products using augmented reality. Thus, for the first time, users have the opportunity to place products in their own four walls with their smartphone for a realistic product experience that is location-independent and interactive.
The digital BABYWELT trade fair is the kick-off to the 2021 BABYWELT season before it continues with the classic trade fairs at various locations in Germany.
