Red, white or prefer rosé? Sparkling or bubbly, fruity or dry? At Whitsun and the following week, everything in Bad Soden's Old Spa Park revolves around wine. Under the spreading crowns of the old trees, winegrowers from Baden, Franconia, Palatinate, Rheingau, Rhinehessen and Württemberg, from the Moselle, Saar and Nahe will set up a romantic wine village. There will be Flammkuchen and Spundekäs', Weck and Woscht as well as other specialities from the different wine regions.
Whoever has found his favorite drop, does not have to do without it after the wine village closes again: the vintners sell their products in larger quantities during the wine days.
Not only for the physical well-being is provided. There is also something for the ears - every day various groups perform in the concert shell between 19:00 and 22:00, on Sundays already in the afternoon.
The Bad Soden Wine Days begin on the Friday before Whitsun and end ten days later on the following Sunday.
The official opening of the Bad Soden Wine Days takes place on the Friday of the Whitsun weekend at 19:30. On weekdays, the wine village opens its gates at 17:00, on Sundays and on Whit Monday at 15:00. The wine festival closes at 24:00.
