For 20 years he has now been on the stages of the region and is celebrated frenetically by an ever-growing fan base: The Hessian dialect cabaret artist Peter Beck, known as the notoriously grumbling janitor "Begge Peder". On 28.02.2018 he will be the first comedian to enter the stage of the Pyramide Mainz and present the "Bäst of" from his six programs.
The audience already laughs wryly when he enters the stage in his janitor's coat with shaving brush hat, horn-rimmed glasses and crooked teeth. If he then still in the broadest dialect anecdotes about his fellow men and his rich experiences with the same to the best, there is no stopping: A salvo of laughter chases the next and one is immediately and with all senses in Begge Peders world between hunter fence and sportsmen's home, family strife and seemingly everyday experiences. Whether in the daily struggle with his wife and newcomers, renovating the bathroom or as the mayor's "closest friend". His spontaneous improvisations are notorious and a general attack on the diaphragm in which everyone gets his fat away, even if the Begge Peder is usually the stupid one at the end.
Last, when he transforms back into the sympathetic human Peter Beck, the true face behind the ugly character is revealed: Beck is a good observer who doesn't mince his words with his artificial character Begge Peder, and he gets to the heart of the annoyances of everyday life in an unvarnished way.
