For the 33rd time, Gelnhausen will be hosting the popular Barbarossa Market, one of the most important folk festivals in the region. As every year, numerous attractions will once again attract thousands of visitors to the historic old town for the colorful market hustle and bustle. In addition to the fairytale tent for the little ones, there is also the popular historical market on the Obermarkt. The highlight here is of course the Ferris wheel, from which you can enjoy a great view of the city. A little further away is the Ziegelhaus stage, where you can listen to live music.
Magic shows, Sunday shopping, a children's jousting tournament and a fire show are also on the program. A festival for the whole family that is perfect for paying Gelnhausen a visit.
