For more than ten years, the Barmer Women's Run has been thrilling its participants - no matter what their age or performance level. On July 28, thousands of "glittering runners" - the new motto of the running series - will once again take to the starting line at the Barmer Women's Run in the Commerzbank Arena.
While running and walking are the focus, they are by no means everything. The Women's Village, the Women's Day Spa and the varied stage programme guarantee a perfect day among women - whether with your best friend, your mother or your colleagues.
The Women's Village invites you to shop, participate and linger with many sponsor stands, raffles and activities. The Women's Day Spa is an oasis of calm. Free wellness treatments and consultations with an all-round happiness guarantee await you here! Childcare rounds off the feel-good atmosphere. In the afternoon, the 4,500 expected participants will warm up before setting off on the 5- or 8-kilometre course through the idyllic city forest. The new highlight this year is the finish directly inside the Commerzbank Arena!
Each participant will receive a high-quality functional shirt with this year's motto "Glitzerflitzer". The blackberry-coloured shirt is the identification mark of the Women's Run supporters and a coveted collector's item for many. Also waiting at the finish line is the finisher's bag - different every year, but always blackberry-colored, emblazoned with the current motto and, of course, bulging with products and highlights from the sponsors.
