Taking up the craft-creative thoughts of the Bauhaus, genre boundaries are stripped away and new rhythms are found. A nomadic friction surface is woven, sometimes a platform, experimental setup, research station, then happening. Lisa Simpson and Stephanie Müller use the sewing machine as a musical instrument. Live on stage the machines are instruments and tools at the same time. During their concerts, textile objects and wearable collages are created. Between the seams, the course of the thread is made to sound. Klaus Erika Dietl contributes visuals.
