BEANS ON TOAST is the stage name of Jay MacCallister, a singer/songwriter from Essex in England. He is best known for his smoky voice and satirical lyrics, which often deal with social and political ills. Meanwhile, the English cult legend Beans On Toast has been on the road longer and more often than he cares to remember. With his eighth studio album now under his belt, he continues to do what he started doing back in 2005. He provokes with his songs, jumping through themes in his songs - singing sometimes about popcorn, sometimes about Prince Harry, about friendships and fracking, about romances and social unrest.
Beans On Toast's live shows are always a little more than just a concert. They're always a wee bit different and unpredictable. Something you don't soon forget.
Nfter three years, Beans On Toast is finally coming back to Germany in April 2017 to play an eleven-day tour in this country without breaks or interruptions.
