The Bergen-Enkheim Cultural Society invites you to the 291st Berger Markt from September 1 to 4 at the Berger Marktplatz. The writer Anja Kampmann will be awarded the sybolic office of "Town Clerk of Bergen" on Friday, August 30, at 7 pm. Afterwards, "Bembel de la Música" will heat up with DJ Rambowsa and DJ LXier, among others.
On Saturday, August 31, at 3 p.m., arts and crafts open to the Berger Market and the festival grounds. Before the official opening at 6:45 p.m. by Mayor Peter Feldmann and local chief Renate Müller-Friese and the subsequent coronation of the cider queen Sissy I, there will be a fashion walking act by the Hessen Center.
After the coronation, the band Hot Stuff will conjure up the glamour world of the seventies and eighties for visitors.
The pageant starts at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, followed by meadow atmosphere with the Alpenfuzzis. In the evening, the Rockin' Wheels and Bleach will provide the mix for an atmospheric rock party.
On Monday, September 2, the focus will be on prevention, starting at 2pm. Visitors can get information and advice at a number of stands, for example Alice Mobil, T-Wall of the South Hesse Police Headquarters, #cleanffm - More cleanliness, more quality of life, more Frankfurt, Aktion Max and much more.
A number of artisans and the scissor grinder will also be represented. The family day with reduced prices, the puppet theatre TOPS at 3 pm and HELIUM6 will provide good mood in the evening.
Tuesday, September 3, begins with the Berger Animal Show before the Maintown Ramblers start at 11 am with a musical morning pint in the tent. Regional producers will offer their wares on the fairgrounds.
The 2019 Berger Market will come to a close at 10 p.m. with a grand finale fireworks display.
