On 11 days the Bingen clocks go differently. There is celebrating, dancing, swaying and laughing. Fireworks at the castle Klopp and at the bridge festival at the Nahe, concerts, wine festival procession, action stages, exhibitions, amusement park - all this promises good mood for every taste and every age. There is an abundance of food at the stalls all over the town and the winegrowers offer the right wine to go with it. No other town or municipality on the Rhine celebrates its wine for so long. Maybe because Bingen is located in four wine-growing regions at the same time (Rheinhessen, Nahe, Mittelrhein and Rheingau) and you need enough time to taste the wines, compare them and find your favourite. The Winzerfest wine tasting is without doubt one of the highlights of the Winzerfest. Other highlights include the Winzerfest parade with floats and groups, as well as the bridge festival, which features fireworks and illumination, putting the Nahe River in the spotlight.
