BLISS stands for rousing entertainment at the highest level and is always good for a surprise. The five dapper Swiss men with mischievousness in their necks deliver an entertainment show that keeps no one on the edge of their seats.
NFollowing the huge success of the show "Tell's Angels", which was specially conceived for Germany, Switzerland's most successful a cappella band is now on tour throughout Germany from spring 2018 with their new stage programme "Mannschaft". The program surprises with an honest and satirical insight into the depths of the male soul and offers musical highlights of the extra class.
BLISS looks the truth about being a man in the face
What drives today's man? Is it still football, beer and sex? Is a real man today only one who wears a full beard, smokes cigars, plays poker and has built a house? One thing is certain: The demands on men change almost as fast as women change their minds. But the blame for this lies with the men themselves. They suppress their age, dye their hair, shave their chests, graduate from Iron Man, brew beer, mow the lawn, change diapers - and in the process they simply lack the time for the essential: themselves. In the process, the five extraordinary a cappella artists provide unusually deep insights into their own biographies and deliver answers to questions that have never been asked before.
A Bliss show is, above all, also a perfect singing show. From opera to hard rock. No genre comes up short. In "Mannschaft", a cappella fans finally get to hear "Big Girl" by Mika, as well as "Mirrors" by Justin Timberlake or "Somebody That I Used To Know" (Gotye feat. Kimbra). A musical highlight of the show: "Madness" by Muse. The arrangements are astonishing. They are resourceful, imaginative and full of timbre. Simply brilliant.
Naturally, "It's Raining Men" by the Weather Girls can't be missed at such a relentlessly manly show with these hot guys. Also "Purple Rain" (Prince), and "Highway to Hell" (AC/DC) are among the band's hits. In addition, catchy and sometimes deeply moving original songs are brought to the audience.
