Bernhard Dill (g,harp,voc), Hartwig Kahlcke (sax): One could believe, the Blues - guitarist Bernhard Dill and tenor saxophonist Hartwig Kahlcke, had not searched but found each other. For 5 years now "BLUESWINGS" inspire with bluesy jazz and jazzy blues.
Bernhard Dill jammed already with greats like Memphis Slim or Big Joe Williams, later with the Frankfurt City Blues Band, Matchbox Blues Band and others like Alexis Korner and Louisiana Red. Hartwig Kahlcke has played with Hot Moustaches Jazzband, Woog City Stompers and is in great demand as a guest saxophonist with many other bands.
The repertoire of "BLUESWINGS" ranges from Jazz-Blues-Standards to Rhythm and Blues, to jazzy versions of well-known Pop-Hits. The main thing is that everything has groove and soul.
