Under the name "KOTID"(Korea's Dance in Germany) we present for the third time a dance festival in Frankfurt, organized by Eukatanz. The organization Eukatanz, under the artistic direction of Jin Hee Mo, has been bringing Korean artists to Europe for years. Furthermore, it helps to organize performances of Korean groups in Europe.
With the festival, insights into the stages and dance styles of professional choreographers and dancers, who are currently active in Germany and in Korea, shall be given. In this way, Eukatanz aims to introduce the power and future of Korean dance in Germany and show that dancers of different styles and generations can form a community through the medium of 'dance'.
The festival takes place over three evenings, and in addition to ballet and modern dance, one can also gain insight into the history and philosophy of traditional, Korean dance.
