With their second album "We were here", the two musicians have finally come back after a long time of waiting to send out colourful sparks with their songs. And there you are, immersed in their nocturnal sea of lights, letting yourself be carried away by their curiosity, their lust for life, their melancholy and yet the ground under your feet always remains somehow palpable. One wants to track everything down, discover it - to catch one's breath would be a waste of time.
The album title, as well as the song of the same name "We were here" is a hymn to the imperishability of precious moments and interpersonal encounters. The duo itself can also look back on many unforgettable moments from the last years. Their debut album "Mutual Friends" went straight into the Top 10 of the German sales charts in 2011 and stayed in the Top 100 for almost 40 weeks, and "Little Numbers" remains a charming earworm that has stuck. It has been clicked over 14 million times on youtube alone.
After numerous performances in Europe and a successful U.S. tour, they now perform their hits acoustically and with string quartet in the W Festival setting. Their songs are an airy mesh of stories and personal experiences of the two musicians.
