The new live show Boybands Forever, penned by the brilliant entertainer and self-confessed "Take That" fan Thomas Hermanns, is taking German audiences by storm on its current spring tour. That's why the revue with the best songs from "New Kids on the Block", "Take That", "Backstreet Boys" or "One Direction" will return in autumn 2018 to light the boyband fire in another 30 cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Boybands Forever is a musical show that lets you explore the phenomenon and its secret to success - step by step and hit by hit. Together with a first-class cast, you will embark on an exciting journey through the decades, across two continents and learn everything about the essence of the ultimate boy band. What is it that makes this magic, that triggers the emotions? What role do the characters, the outfits, the videos play? The curious understand, the daughters empathize with their mothers' youth and the fans finally get to be a fan: Two hours of perfect choreography, impressive dance moves and cool styles, but also a lot of fun, self-irony and, above all, unique melodies with those so special vocal harmonies.
Together with a top-notch band and cast, Boybands Forever features over 40 hits from major boy bands like Backstreet Boys, Take That, East 17, New Kids on the Block, Boyzone, N'Sync and One Direction.
The show's five protagonists not only enrapture female fans. But of course, the five characters: son-in-law John, sweet Sascha, athletic Rik, dramatic Lucian and the nameless fifth bring something for the eye in addition to their extraordinary voices.
