2017 will be a fat year for the Broilers. The band has been working on new songs, coming up with new ideas, regrouping and refueling their energy. Pretty much ready to finally get back on stages and live up to what they are known for: being one of the best live bands in the country.
The Broilers have been one of the most successful groups in the German-speaking world at least since the 2014 release of their number one album "NOIR". The longplayer was honoured with a gold award for its sales just like the previous epic "Santa Muerte".
The subsequent tour lasted into autumn 2015, with over 150,000 fans attending the concerts, which were sold out almost everywhere. In their hometown Düsseldorf alone, more than 20,000 fans celebrated with the band on two consecutive nights.
The success of the Broilers, a band where independence and credibility are basic requirements, is based on three pillars: Furious concerts with a dedicated live presence. An independent sound developed over the years that combines punk, street rock and singer/songwriter elements in an unusual way, and the lyrics of singer and guitarist Sammy Amara, who aptly comments on private, political and everyday life with dry poetry.
At the height of their success, the band retired for an extended hiatus. For their fans there is now finally light at the end of the tunnel: The Broilers announce a big tour for the beginning of next year!
