A first-class feast for the ears and eyes of a different kind is guaranteed by "Symphonic Rock In Concert". There, rock world hits and classics such as "Jump" (Van Halen), "Stairway To Heaven" (Led Zeppelin), "Bohemian Rhapsody" (Queen), "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" (Meat Loaf), "Sledgehammer" (Peter Gabriel) or "Smoke On The Water" (Deep Purple) are played in hard-hitting rock symphonic versions - by renowned experts! The equally voluminous and differentiated widescreen sound is created not only by an accomplished rock quartet plus three vocal soloists as well as a background choir, but above all by the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt.
The 50-piece orchestra has the best references for such a sonically impressive production including the finest intermediate tones: In the past, the Offenbach-based "large-scale enterprise" has accompanied Deep Purple, Peter Gabriel, Roger Hodgson (ex-Supertramp), David Garrett or Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), among others - the legendary original interpreters of some of those internationally acclaimed musical masterpieces which the symphony orchestra itself now presents live. Ian Gillian (Deep Purple) gave the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt a knighthood when he enthusiastically stated in 2011 after the joint "The Songs That Built Rock" European tour: "The funkiest orchestra we ever played with!". Currently, the orchestra is in concert with Gregory Porter.
