You gather, I hunt! Two hundred thousand years - and a few more on top: since the dawn of mankind, man and woman have been passionately trying to master everyday life together. Or even to lead a partnership. But it's only in the current millennium that Caveman provides charming proof that the basic challenges of a relationship haven't changed much, even in the age of 3-room condos and smartphone chasing.
Because there's one thing even civilization and progress haven't been able to change: A relatable realization, but one that provides pure enjoyment thanks to the likeable hero Tom. Together with him, the audience explores the unequal territories of the two species.

And in this country, too, Caveman, in the production by Esther Schweins and the translation by Kristian Bader, has been an enduring stage hit since 2000. Thanks to its trenchant inventiveness and its affectionate treatment of deep truths along with amusing clichés, Caveman is more than ever a must-see for anyone who leads, has led or wants to lead a relationship.
