Caveman: You collect, I hunt!

What connects Tom and Caveman, his prehistoric ancestor? Cult comedy about the differences between male and female. He's already a poor guy, Tom, being kicked out by his wife. Together with Caveman, his prehistoric ancestor, he then goes on a journey to a time when men were still allowed to be hunters and women were still allowed to be gatherers - and comes to the conclusion that he is not a shithead, but still a hunter, a modern caveman who wants to love and protect his wife.
Rob Decker's cult comedy is the most successful solo play in Broadway history, from where "Caveman" made its triumphant march to philosophize - and laugh - with audiences around the world about love, communication problems and socks that can jeopardize a marriage. The play can be seen at Centralstation in a production by Esther Schweins with Holger Dexne in the role of Tom.
