Kurt Hessenberg (1908-1994) was one of the most important personalities in Frankfurt as well as in German musical life of the past century. As a composer and composition teacher, he was a highly respected authority of his time, whose works attracted attention throughout Germany as well as abroad.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of his death, his Quartet for Piano, Violin, Viola and Violoncello in C Major, Op. 10 (1935) will be performed. Performers: Fritz Walther (piano) and members of the Frankfurt Opera and Museum Orchestra.

The Romanfabrik takes over a music series with a long-standing tradition: the lunchtime concerts at the Historisches Museum. An event of the Romanfabrik in cooperation with the Historisches Museum Frankfurt.
