Alone with her acoustic guitar, a handful of self-penned songs and a boundless passion for music in her luggage, the young British singer-songwriter Charlotte Campbell ventured onto the streets of London a few years ago to inspire the people passing by with her gentle voice and lyrics taken directly from life. Almost every day since then she can be found at her regular spot on the banks of the Thames next to the Ferris wheel, enticing passers-by to stop for a moment and listen to her enchanting melodies.
Meanwhile, Charlotte has become a fixture on London's colourful music scene, as well as on the UK's cabaret stages. Last autumn saw the release of what is now her third album, featuring a host of new, profound songs.
