Charly Klauser is with her 28 years a multi-instrumentalist, who leaves out no facets. The Cologne native is on the road as a singer, percussionist, drummer, violinist, guitarist, songwriter and producer with a wide variety of projects and has been able to make a name for herself as a background singer for Peter Maffay, Sasha and Tim Bendzko, as a drummer in Carolin Kebekus' TV show and as co-founder and frontwoman of the all-girl rock band "The Black Sheep", among others. Her irrepressible passion to be on stage with other people and to face new challenges again and again kept her in the past years in the most positive sense from focusing on herself and following the inner creative voice.
2019 this voice shall now be heard. As a necessary consequence and completely following the cliché, Charly took some time off in the last months - yes, with a cottage by the sea on a nearly deserted island - and brought her long-dormant ideas into shape. Her songs are bursting with experimental playfulness and energy, incisive riffs and melodies, fragile moments and lines of lyrics that have something to say. Both as a solo artist with acoustic guitar and with a 4-piece band behind her, she has already been able to bring her latest works to the stage and thrill thousands of people as a support act for Johannes Oerding in the summer of 2018. Charly Klauser follows her own great desire to create something as personal as she has never done before. Therefore she writes, produces, sings and plays everything herself and skillfully proves this with her recently released live video session.
