It is a fixed and wonderful date of the Christmas season: every year on the third Sunday of Advent, a small but extremely fine Christmas market in the atmospheric Schoppenhof of the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt invites you to leisurely and contemplative browsing and enjoyment. In front of a historic backdrop, you can discover Christmas gifts and sample culinary delights from the Kempinski kitchen from 12:00 to 18:00. But that's not all: there will be prizes from the Kempinski world to be won in a raffle, and the hotel will traditionally donate part of the proceeds to the Kinderhilfestiftung e. V. Frankfurt.
More than 20 festively decorated wooden huts will offer typical Christmas specialities and handmade gift articles. The offer includes for example, jewelry, scarves, handicrafts, decorations, honey, porcelain and print art. Cakes, cookies and stollen from the patisserie of the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt will also be for sale; in addition, visitors can purchase their Christmas tree in front of the Schoppenhof. All vendors at the Kempinski Christmas Market are based in the Rhine-Main region.
You can fortify yourself with classic winter delights such as potato soup, goulash soup and grilled sausage. Oysters, mulled wine, waffles, cotton candy, Crêpes and roasted almonds make the Christmas market happiness perfect. The jazz band Ellingtones from Hanover will provide the atmospheric background music.
At a raffle, visitors can win various vouchers, for example for a dinner in the restaurant EssTisch and in the Torschänke or for a participation in the Sunday brunch. The main prizes are overnight stays for two people in various Kempinski hotels. Admission to the Christmas market is free, raffle tickets cost EUR 3. As every year, the hotel will donate part of the proceeds to the Kinderhilfestiftung e. V. Frankfurt.
Open Day
The Christmas market will be held in conjunction with an open day. Every hour the hotel team offers thereby house tours. In addition to rooms and suites, the event rooms and the restaurants, interested parties can also get to know the Country Club & Spa Frankfurt and the indoor tennis court. You should not miss this!
