Festive glow of lights on Büdingen's towers and half-timbered houses not only make the hearts of Christmas fans beat faster. With the scent of cinnamon and cloves in the nose, on the way in the old town decorated with thousands of lights, the festive Christmas mood sets by itself.
About 80 lovingly decorated stalls around the market square in the Oberhof as well as around the Marienkirche offer all kinds of Christmas. A varied stage program, with contemplative but also rocking music rounds off the offer.
Forest and Christmas - that belongs together here!
On the 2nd Advent, the Büdinger market place becomes a winter forest. Arts and crafts and selected Advent and Christmas articles will be offered at the stalls.
On the weekend, 3 and 4 December, the market grows, in addition to other stands around the Marienkirche opens the Büdinger Künstlerweihnacht in the Oberhof. Here, a total of 15 artists and art exhibitors show their skills and their works.
The children can look forward to December 4, when Santa Claus with a big bag full of goodies moves through the Christmas forest. But a ride on the Christmas train in the market square is also likely to make children's eyes light up.
