In old folk songs as well as in songs and arias of the baroque, the classical period, but also in songs of the romantic period up to the evergreens of the 1980s Christoph von Weitzel tells the stories of a human being. In this way, the baritone experiences and traverses all the highs and lows, dramas and joys of human life. The themes of the evening: good living through evil, friends standing next to enemies, day replacing night, rise followed by fall, the influence of nature and its elements, and last but not least: Faith, hope and love. Hits alternate with rarely heard melodies. An evening with the favourite songs of singer Christoph von Weitzel.
At the piano, a long-time friend and, for the first time, his accompanist: Georgi Mundrov, a keyboard poet.
You will hear works by Zuccamaglio, Silcher, Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, Wolf, Wagner, Borodin and Sinatra.
