Whoever does not feel the musicality of the word "Schobbedeggelsche" is not from here resp. "from there". Hessians sometimes say "da" to "hier". "Der is net von da" actually means something very close. "Komm'emaa daher!" therefore means "komm'emaa hierher!" Where the DA in HER comes from, one does not know for sure. Maybe from there. Hence: "It's not from here. We can't do anything about that!" Hessian is more than a dialect, it's a way of life. While some are searching for alien life forms in space, there are as yet unexplored things in the sea, between marquee tarpaulins, under the asphalt and in Hesse. Clajo Hermann reveals illuminating facts. And surely many will think at the end of the evening: "So exactly I wanted to know's not at all!"
