What began in 2001 with around 40 classic car enthusiasts has now become the largest one-day classic car gathering in Germany: the Klassikertreffen an den Opelvillen.
Every year on the last Sunday in June, classic car enthusiasts from all over Germany and nearby countries gather at the Opelvillen in Rüsselsheim to show off their treasures. Cars, tractors, motorcycles and bicycles of all makes up to the year of construction 1986 are admitted here. A special feature is that neither registration in advance nor stand fees have to be paid. Gastronomic diversity and a varied musical programme attract tens of thousands of visitors to Rüsselsheim.
The 2017 classic car meeting will not take place until 27 August 2017 due to the Hessentag. August 2017.
