Ton, Steine, Scherben - a legend celebrates resurrection! All the snotty beauty of the Scherben now finally live up close again. With the two original Scherben Kai Sichtermann (bassist since 1970) and Funky K. Götzner (drummer since 1974, now Cajón) the grooving basic structure of perhaps the most legendary band in Germany goes on tour to bring the magic of Rio Reiser's songs and the Scherben back on stage. A project like this stands and falls with the frontman, and Kai and Funky couldn't have found a better one than Gymmick, charismatic song poet from Nuremberg. With his aura and his voice he comes closer to Rio Reiser's role model than anyone before and still manages to remain a fascinating personality all of his own. The dream is far from over, the stage is still on fire, respectful, tender and yet full of crazed joie de vivre, the trio celebrates a piece of music history that is as burningly topical today as it was in the most rebellious anarchist times of the wild 70s.
