Joe Wulf -- trombone Pianist Jan Luley describes his music as "Contemporary New Orleans Style": Versatile and full of surprises, swinging, with rock elements, playing with sound effects, not averse to modern jazz, but always with one foot in the blues. Also rooted in the blues is Cleo, one of the most promising newcomers among the young European singers. Cleo doesn't just sing, she uses her voice like another instrument, virtuosic, versatile, expressive and full of nuances. Moreover, she is not only a singer but also a musician and adds a special touch to the music with her violin. The double bass is played by Lindy "Lady Bass" Huppertsberg, who is known throughout Europe. Her powerful, swinging bass is in demand in many bands and projects; and she has already performed on stage with countless jazz greats such as Emil Mangelsdorff, Charly Antolini or Red Holloway. Drums are played by three-time "Jugend jazzt" award-winner Tobias Schirmer, whose drumming is characterized by a high degree of sensitivity, sound awareness and a stylistically almost limitless flexibility. The group is completed by Joe Wulf, one of the best German swing trombonists.
