What makes Cosby so special? It's mostly the easygoing electro-pop, the versatile use of synths and other electronic sound generators, the funky bass, the precise drums and of course the signature voice of singer Marie Kobylka. With their second album "Milestone" Cosby are coming back strong two years after the release of their debut album "As Fast As We Can". The Bavarians were already on the road quite rapidly and gained respect all over Europe with this elusive, pulsating mixture of close friendship, hook-love, striving for a better world and a thirst for action set to music. The four don't shy away from large-scale pop songs at all, although their productions are clearly based on DIY roots, a healthy, organic indie spirit clearly being the foundation and top priority for them. From this attitude, Cosby write and play songs like "new US superhits", as Bayerischer Rundfunk once put it. There's really nothing to add to that, except maybe: Cosby are now coming to Mainz with this!
