For a long time the band around front woman Cynthia Nickschas has been waiting for a sign of life. Now the dry spell is over and Cynthia is back on the stages of the republic with new power and a new album.
She wasn't gone, it just got quiet around the little power concentrate from Bonn.This silence is finally broken now and Cynthia and her boys present themselves and their new tracks to the public.
"Egoschwein" is the name of the work and starts where Cynthia started in her reflections about herself, life and people, in "Kopfregal".It is also an announcement to everything that has put the famous obstacles in her way in recent years.
A lot has happened since the first studio album. Cynthia has matured, in experience, in playfulness and expression. Together with her the music has changed, not much, but it can be experienced. New musicians have joined the band, and the unique sound and expression of Cynthia's joie de vivre is now enhanced by violin and saxophone. Unconventional and cheeky, thoughtful and dreamy, but also angry and are her reflections.
While her message remains fundamentally positive with a strong view of the future. "Ego pig" here means going one's own way and listening to one's inner voice.And doing so with others, not for one's own selfish ends.Cynthia doesn't necessarily indict, but rather resonates with her own experiences and all too often speaks from people's souls.Her lively, unaffected manner and her enchanting charm lead to the fact that one simply begrudges her every "dancing out of line" and is happy with her. The concerts are each unique, because the friends always manage to weave the color and the experienced energy of the evening into their own pieces.Thus the spectator becomes a silent actor, whose presence helps to shape the overall experience.
