Punk has many voices and many faces, is loud, boisterous, challenging and aggressive. Punk can guide you to ask questions, to be constantly amazed, to keep moving and critical. For the authors of the book "Damaged Goods" (Ventil Verlag), punk is formative for their own lives, has set the course and often remains the motor for their own creativity. In over 150 texts, the different faces and voices of punk, the loud and the quiet, are honored and form a cross-section of four decades of "No Future". The authors invite you to a music-historical educational journey. Favourite records, overlooked gems and classics are presented and together form a very personal punk history that comes closer to the polyphony of the subculture than a monographic work could ever have done. A really great book, presented today by editor Jonas Engelmann, author Holger Adam and author Christina Mohr with many visual and audio documents.
