Thirteen years after their last album and Nineteen years after their last live performance, Jon Schaffer (Iced Earth) & Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian) and their project Demons & Wizards will return once in 2019 for a few select club shows and festivals.
Nineteen years it took for the longest and best male friendship in the metal scene to become active again. Countless world tours and album releases by their own bands Iced Earth and Blind Guardian, didn't allow them to get both on the same stage together. Now, finally, the time has come.
Demons & Wizards return as headliners at Wacken Festival 2019 and for a few select other European festivals.
The few club shows in an intimate atmosphere will be the exceptions and maybe the last chance to see Demons & Wizards live and up close once.
In an ever-copying and diluting musical landscape of fabricated and manipulated music industry images, Demons & Wizards stand as distinctive, unique and "True". Their works are legend, their return a resurrection!
