What could be more natural than watching web series on the web?
The Seriale - DigitalSeriesFestival Giessen - Germany's first international festival for digital series goes from 3 to 8. June in the sixth round - in the Corona year 2020 as an exclusive web event!
The Official Selection with 62 digital series and nine pilots from 18 countries will be streamed exclusively on the platform Videmic. The awards ceremony on June 7 at 8pm with the red carpet event featuring interviews with series creators* from around the world will take place as a festive gala on the live internet stream. Admission is free and everyone can be there!
This year, the festival will again be accompanied by an extensive supporting programme, including an educational event on 5 June with lectures and discussions reflecting on digital series from a theoretical-practical perspective. Online keynotes and panels round off the programme. These will be streamed live on the Seriale homepage as well as Facebook and Instagram, and the contributions as well as series episodes will be available on the Videmic app throughout the event.
