Nur Nuhr. Rarely did a program title so accurately reflect what there is to see on stage: No pyrotechnics, no dancers, no cheap effects. One man, one microphone. Nuhr with words, the master of the relaxed punch line brings his audience to the joke line and from there into cheerful ecstasy. Nuhr proves that multitasking is possible. There is laughing and thinking - at the same time!
Nuhr, the funniest among cabaret artists and the smartest among comedians? He has long since left these pigeonholes behind him anyway. His thoughts always move just off the track. Nuhr takes great pleasure in leaving the well-trodden paths of ideologues. His world view is idiosyncratic, surprising and always off the beaten track, yet hilarious and extremely entertaining.
Nuhr is the maestro of the profound roarer. His comedy is target group free. The audience mixes age groups from schoolchildren to pensioners. Animals, however, have to stay outside. And even on stage there is rarely any growling. Nuhr's unagitated voice creates an almost meditative effect. His deeply relaxed cheerfulness is uproariously funny - and his audience happy at the end.
