Dirk Maassen is currently considered Germany's most played pianist in the field of neo classical/solo piano. With over a million listeners per month on Spotify, iTunes and co, the 1970 born composer and pianist has achieved this status. Even more, his compositions and playing have deeply touched millions of listeners worldwide. Massen's music has also made it into several film projects, including "Crossroads", which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015. With Cargo Records, the Ulm-based artist found a partner to market his music now also in the classic CD and vinyl formats. With "S.O.L.", a best-of album first went on sale in March. No easy undertaking, as Maasen was able to choose from 170 compositions, including titles that speak for themselves such as "Lumière", "To The Sky", "La Mer" or "Crossing Oceans".
