In February, Dirk von Lowtzow's first book will be published by "Kiepenheuer & Witsch": "Aus dem Dachsbau" is a poetic, quirky and humorous encyclopedia in which Dirk surveys his life, the art that occupies him and the world that surrounds him. From "Abba" to "Mohammed", from "Badger" to "Operetta Bear", from "Hysteria" to "Rites", from "Ecstasy" to "Idiot Test". Dirk tells of childhood and adolescence, of turmoil and fear, of the death of his closest childhood friend, of longing wanderings and his socialisation through pop music, comics and films. You'll learn where he goes when the music stops, the festival lawn is already damp with dew and there's not a tour bus in sight. He has his acoustic guitar with him to weave the reading with Tocotronic songs from 25 years of band history.
