The band's new album not only gets into your legs, but also under your skin. You think you hear a pinch of heavy metal in places, a hint of jazz. New are the synthesizers, which let the earthy sound carpet fly. That's why Django 3000 will rock the stage as a five-piece with a keyboarder. Stranger and familiar merge, just like it is when you come home after a long journey: You are still the same, but not the same anymore.
Also in the stories they tell, Django 3000 cross borders with relish. They sing about carrying on in seemingly hopeless situations, about uncompromising new beginnings, about feral outlaws and stir up a cloud of dust wherever they appear. In order to be understood in all corners of the world, the world language English is now on an equal footing with the band's native Bavarian dialect. But upbeat mood or not - there's one thing you can and must still count on with them: the dirtiest, most awesome party between Chiemsee and the Arctic Circle.
