Dope D.O.D. was founded by rappers Skits Vicious, Jay Reaper and Dopey Rotten (former member). The group is known for strong vocals over heavy aggressive beats, with their style blending classic hip-hop with elements of electro genres. This has led to collaborations with Noisia, Mefjus, The Teddy Killerz, Black Sun Empire, and Apashe to name a few. It's difficult to place her fans in any particular category, as she is often credited with having "a sound all her own", with a strong penchant for refined lyrics and flamboyant subject matter. This individuality won her recognition from music heavyweights such as Limp Bizkit, Korn, Sean Price, The Prodigy, Redman, Onyx and many more artists, with whom she was given the opportunity to collaborate and tour after the release of her debut video "What Happened" (currently viewed 30 million times on YouTube).
Followed by sold-out shows from Russia to South America that launched her international career. The group won an EBBA award in their first year of success, were invited to numerous follow up shows at some of Europe's biggest festivals (Splash, Sziget, HipHopKemp, Beats For Love, Lowlands etc.) and even played the SXSW festival in the US, which led to a deal with Duck Down Records to release their first debut album "Branded". Since then she has released a number of projects including "Da Roach", "Master Xploder", "The Ugly E.P.", "Acid Trap" and currently a collaboration album with New York legends Onyx entitled "Shotgunz In Hell". This brings together two generations of hardcore rap and blends the sound characteristics that both groups are renowned for. The result is an exciting clash of lyrical behemoths and highly innovative beats with highlights including "XXX" and "Piro". The title of the album is perfectly chosen as it takes the listener on a 40-minute roller coaster ride through hell. It's safe to say that the material presented will appeal to both diehard fans and newcomers listening in for the first time.
The group is currently working on a new album, new music videos, collaborations with other artists and a film project. It's not difficult to keep up with a band that averages 250,000 online fans. She always stays true to herself, but isn't afraid to evolve.
