A drum kit, a guitar and the heart between Mississippi Delta and the Main. LaRona pushes the limits of how much sound and punch is possible in minimal instrumentation: Vocals in changing lineups, a roaring amp, sizzling cymbals and more than a pinch of heart. Formed at the end of 2016, the duo can now draw on a wide repertoire of original songs in a style between rock and blues. LaRona mixes elements of blues rock, garage rock and hard rock as well as other influences from the history of rock music to create their own sound.
