There will be a very special performance at the Sommerbau in mid-September: at the beginning of the 2021/22 season, Jacopo Godani will offer five ensemble members of the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company the opportunity for a collaborative work. Under the title "Traces", Felix Berning, Kevin Beyer, Anne Jung, Michael Ostenrath and Sam Young-Wright will go in search of traces and combine previous dance influences, current choreographic research under Jacopo Godani and their own choreographic signatures. The resulting performance installation resembles a palimpsest - ideas are introduced, supplemented by others, and overwritten again by new ones. The remaining traces from the past and present mix with the ideas of the young choreographers. It is a vibrant, experimental piece that ties in with the architectural concept of the Sommerbau with its unique three-dimensional open-air stage.
