In 2003, four music technology students from Stafford University got together and formed the band Snowfield. Cut, 14 years later this band is at the forefront of the UK indie scene, just under a different name: Editors. The line-up has also changed in the meantime: Singer/guitarist Tom Smith, lead guitarist Justin Lockey, bassist Russell Leech, synths/guitar Elliot Williams and drummer Ed Lay.
Five terrific studio albums, countless sold-out live concerts, and songs like "An End Has a Start," "Papillon," and "Ocean of Night" prove how passionately the band burns for their music and how much their fans get carried away. Sometimes rocking, sometimes a bit more electronic, but always with the unique and unmistakable baritone voice of Tom Smith. Each time they reinvent themselves a little bit.
