2 degrees Celsius in the shade and it's snowing?! This is not a fault in the system of elements or due to global warming, but happens exactly when the ice factory enters the stages of this world.
Eisfabrik is an art project with firmly integrated characters as protagonists and in its overall concept should also be considered as a band in its own right and not just as a project. The three ice factory members are Dr. Schnee, Der Frost and Celsius. Musically they move somewhere between Dark Electro and Future Pop, whereby they are quite open for outbreaks in other directions of electronic kind and integrate this skillfully into their own sound garment. Catchiness and hypothermic harmony are the main focus of Eisfabrik. Since it is an overall artistic concept, the visual factor also plays a major role, so that many individual effects and show interludes come into play during live performances. They play with innovative lighting effects on the protagonists themselves, as well as on stage. When a robot about 2,30 meters tall or a Yeti storm the stage while the band is doing their best, or as mentioned at the beginning, it starts to snow, this is also part of the current program like the band name, which is spread over the whole stage in DMX mode. The debut album "When Winter Comes" and the single release "Ice Crystal" could already celebrate some voting chart successes like at the DAC or GEWC, so the way was paved for the follow-up album "Eisplanet" for the clubs.
The current album, Eighteen Hundred and Frozen, marks the Ice Factory's next step. Third album, #3 in the German alternative charts, first headlining tour of their own - and, not surprisingly, success everywhere you look. So the band filled renowned clubs all over Germany right away, which was celebrated by press and fans alike.
